Assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass with reverence and dignity. Many Extraordinary Ministers also are involved in bringing the Body of Christ to the sick, the elderly, the homebound and residents in nursing homes. This ministry is open to men and women who are active, confirmed parishioners. Training is provided through the Diocese of Brooklyn.

Lectors
Have the responsibility of proclaiming the Scripture readings during the Liturgy of the Word at parish celebrations of the Eucharist. The ministry is open to all men and women of the parish.
